The Brashear baseball team hosted La Plata Thursday night. La Plata scored 2 runs in each of the 1st 4 innings, then exploded for 11 runs in the 5th to claim a 19-1 victory. Brashear's lone run came on the 1st pitch in the bottom of the 1st as Cole Erwin hammered a home run over the center field fence. Cole Erwin got the start with Avery Zentz and Alex Houghton pitching in relief.
